A Manitoulin District is a district in Northeastern Ontario in the Canadian province of Ontario. It was created around 1888 from either a portion of Algoma District. A zone seat is Gore Bay.
A Manitoulin District is Manitoulin Island and a number of small islands in the area of it. Although it antecedently involved a municipality of Killarney on the mainland as well, Killarney was transferred to the Sudbury District in the late 1990s.
Around 2001, the people of Manitoulin District was 12,679.
